What types of custom conjugations do you offer?
We offer custom conjugation of antibodies and select proteins to a wide range of labels, including fluorophores (e.g., Cy®, DyLight®, iFluor®, mFluor™, AZDye), biotin, enzyme labels (e.g., HRP, Alkaline Phosphatase, PE), and specialized formats such as agarose bead and colloidal gold conjugates.
Do you work with monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies?
Yes. We can conjugate monoclonal, polyclonal, and recombinant antibodies, as well as many other purified proteins, subject to feasibility and buffer compatibility.
Can I scale conjugate production beyond research-scale needs?
Yes. Our processes are designed to scale from research scale mg-level projects to larger-scale RUO production.
Do you support conjugation for ADC-related research?
Yes. Tier 2 supports RUO-only conjugation workflows for ADC-related research, including degree of labeling, and QC data that help de-risk early-stage discovery and lead characterization. These conjugates are not intended for drug product use or GMP-manufacturing.
Do you guarantee performance and yield for antibody and protein custom conjugation services?
We will make our best effort to produce the conjugate you request. However, because optimal labeling must be determined empirically, we cannot guarantee that a single conjugation will produce the best product for your needs. Please note that we cannot guarantee the final yield or that the final product will be biologically active. We do not refund payments for services performed.
Are your custom conjugates for research use only?
Yes. All custom conjugates and services are for Research Use Only and are not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
How are custom conjugates supplied?
Your custom conjugated antibody is delivered in standard Tris or PBS buffer, depending on your choice. Additional buffer options such as azide-free or other custom buffer formats are available upon request for an additional cost.
How do I store my conjugated antibody?
Your custom conjugated antibody can be stored at 2-8 °C for intermediate use. For long-term storage, aliquot and snap freeze to preserve activity. Freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided. DO NOT freeze R-Phycoerythrin conjugates.
What is the shelf life of my custom conjugated antibody?
Conjugate stability is dependent on the biomolecule and needs to be determined empirically. Conjugate expiration is not assigned.
What is the lead time for antibody and protein custom conjugation services?
Estimated production time varies by service tier chosen and additional functional verification testing, if requested.
What happens if my conjugate does not perform as expected during functional verification testing?
If a Tier 2 conjugate underperforms in the selected verification assay, we work with you to troubleshoot (e.g., optimize dilution, assay parameters).
